# Outbound / exit clicks

Clicks on an <a href> that leave the current origin send type outbound with the destination URL (host + path). Same-origin links are ignored. preventDefault is not called.

pageview, purchase, goal, identify, and scroll stay unchanged. zarstat() is an alias for cashline().

The Sources table lists Exit clicks (destination, clicks, visitors). Empty until an outbound event is stored.
